SilkLight Cellulite Treatments
Millions of men and women throughout the United States diet and exercise every
day.
Unfortunately, diet and exercise do not improve the ripples and dimples caused
by cellulite.
These traditional efforts for slimming down and shaping up are directed at the
muscle groups and fat deposits. They have little effect on the elasticity of
connective tissue fibers under the skin.
The exciting new cellulite treatment program uses advanced SilkLight technology
to combine subatmospheric pressure with a state-of-the-art mechanical massage
to enhance your slimmer, trimmer figure and eliminate the rippling effects of
cellulite.
SilkLight treatments are helping women and men throughout the United States
enjoy remarkable results after only a few weeks. The SilkLight treatments enable
patients to realize an actual reduction in the appearance of cellulite, a marked
improvement in skin tone and a decrease in the volume of the figure.
How do SilkLight treatments work?
This unique approach to an improved figure combines massage with diet and exercise
to stimulate your body and reduce the appearance of cellulite, while redefining
your figure.
SilkLight treatments use gentle suction to fold and massage your hyperdermis
where the cellulite condition resides. This increases circulation and stimulates
the subcutaneous and deep layers of fat and muscle. The increased bloodflow
helps to shrink the fat cells. This is believed to be one of the reasons for
the improvement in the appearance of cellulite.
The mechanical action of the SilkLight hand piece also stimulates the dermis,
improves circulation and increases the exfoliation of skin cells which adds
to the enhanced appearance of the skin.
How are SilkLight Cellulite treatments different from Liposuction?
SilkLight treatments are not a surgical procedure. They do not break the skin
in any way.
How soon will I see results?
Usually patients notice changes within 6 or 8 sessions. However, 14 is the
average number of treatments recommended for maximum results.
How many SilkLight treatments can I have in one week?
Two treatment sessions per week are recommended. If you are on a diet, or in
the process of losing a significant amount of weight, or if you have long-term
problematic cellulite, one treatment a week is recommended provided you maintain
proper nutrition.
How long do treatment sessions take?
Each treatment session lasts about 30 minutes, with focus on your problem areas,
but time is given to other areas to stimulate circulation and the elimination
of fatty acid.
Who are the best candidates for SilkLight treatments?
The best candidates for SilkLight cellulite treatments are men and women who
are:
less than 30 lbs. overweight.
are in generally good health.
have good skin tone.
have realistic expectations.
are motivated to exercise & diet.
will drink 1-2 quarts of water per day.
What results can you expect?
SilkLight treatments efficiently produce lasting results in thirty-minute sessions
applied through a course of weekly sessions. Within six weeks patients begin
to see the results. One patient photographed above realized a dramatic reduction
in the girth of her thighs and now wears a dress two sizes smaller. While your
results may differ, you should notice some reduction in girth, and the appearance
of stretch marks, dimpling and loose skin will be improved.
Do SilkLight Treatments replace diet and excercise?
No. We highly recommend that you add diet and exercise to your daily routine
while you are undergoing SilkLight treatments. For most patients, this improves
results. Many patients feel that they are able to lose weight more easily while
in our treatment program.
